Description
In Ratchet & Clank's first appearance on the PlayStation 3, the duo fights against a robot army led by a "Cragmite" named Emperor Tachyon. Along the way, Ratchet learns about the origins and history of his race, and Clank discovers that he has a soul (which allows him to communicate with invisible "Zoni" robots and unlock new abilities).
The game features all the usual franchise elements, including plenty of unusual gadgets and upgradeable weapons (including weapons that turn enemies into penguins or make them dance disco-style), space combat, elaborate cutscenes and puzzle sequences where players control Clank and his Zoni friends. The SIXAXIS motion controller is used to control Ratchet in free-fall mode and to aim and steer some of the game's gadgets. The game also offers a connectivity mode with the PSP game Secret Agent Clank.
