Buy One Piece OP-17: The World's Strongest Warriors
With OP-17, the 4th Anniversary Set of the One Piece Card Game has been released under the title The World's Strongest Warriors. It comprises 135 cards (131+4 types) and, with the Treasure Rare, introduces a new rarity above the Secret Rare. With us you get the set in the English and in the Japanese edition, ready to ship from our warehouse in Zurich. What is currently in stock is shown directly on the item: displays of an anniversary series regularly sell out fast with One Piece, but we keep restocking.
What is inside the OP-17 Booster Box?
A Booster Box contains 24 boosters, in both language editions alike. How many cards are in a booster, on the other hand, very much does depend on the language: the English edition has 12 cards per pack, the Japanese one has 6. An English box therefore brings roughly twice as many cards as a Japanese one.
- English Booster Box: 24 packs of 12 cards
- Japanese Booster Box: 24 packs of 6 cards
- Single booster: one pack to try out, 12 or 6 cards depending on the language
Elbaf, the Yonko and six new Leaders
Thematically, OP-17 revolves around the Elbaf arc and the Yonko, the Four Emperors. The set brings six Leader cards: Edward Newgate, Monkey D. Luffy, Shanks, Kaido, Charlotte Linlin and Rocks D. Xebec. Added to these are familiar Leaders from earlier sets in reworked versions, which makes the set interesting for existing decks as well.
English or Japanese: what is the difference?
Both editions contain the same series; the language and the pack size are what differ. The English edition is the variant common in the Swiss tournament scene and, with 12 cards per pack, the more generous choice. The Japanese edition is the original release, appeared a few days earlier and is valued by collectors for its card stock quality and cut. On this page you will find both side by side.
