Description
The 2005 edition of the NBA Live basketball series features a new graphics engine and adds new moves and signature moves to personalise your players. Another feature is Freestyle Air, with more control over players in the air and the ability to set 10 different freestyle configurations. You can build your team over multiple seasons, and Dynasty Mode introduces additional management through rookie scouting, along with a calendar to mark all important dates. Management is based on dynasty points. Through progress, you earn points that you can spend on training sessions, new equipment or sending scouts around the world.
Various multiplayer options are offered, and events include regular game modes as well as an NBA All-Star weekend featuring a Slam Dunk competition, a Rookie/Sophomore game and a 3-Point Shootout. You can also play Freestyle anywhere in North America. The game is faster than the 2004 version, and playing strategies have been balanced through increased emphasis on mid-range jump shots.
