NBA 2K10 - Boxed - PS2

NBA 2K10 expands the previous game modes, brings roster updates and adds a range of new online features designed to give the game more realism.
2K10 offers an improved player creation mode that, alongside the standard options for build and appearance, also includes tendencies, settings, dribbling and dunk styles as well as signature moves. Created players can be used in the new “My Player” simulation mode, in which the created basketball player rises from an inexperienced rookie through his entire NBA career. This mode is a simulation in the truest sense of the word, and players imported into this mode are expected to choose a position on their team and play it accurately, unselfishly and without deviation (no running around the court looking for dunks and flashy superstardom).
Xbox 360 and PS3 players can download the NBA 2K10 Draft Combine game to create a player and give them a head start on abilities in “My Player” mode. Players can also form online crews and play pick-up games, which don't affect the character's schedule but still earn experience points.
The “The Association” simulation mode has been expanded, allowing players to control and manage all 30 NBA teams simultaneously, track the realistic progress of generated players, share custom draft classes and manage new Development League teams.
Consoles with an internet connection can receive live updates via the “NBA Today” feature. This feature optionally updates rosters and stats to reflect changes in the current NBA (including trades and injuries), and provides date-dependent colour commentary depending on when the game is played.
A variety of other gameplay changes have been made, including new dribbling and defensive controls, lockdown defence, a new stamina system, 24 active play calls and the ability to save progress mid-game and return later.
