Mr Bean - Boxed - PS2

Mr. Bean's Wacky World is a third-person action game based on the 2002 animated series in which Rowan Atkinson plays the famous character. A mysterious villain has kidnapped Teddy and is demanding a ransom of 1,000 cat biscuits. It's now up to the player to head out into the world and collect all the biscuits demanded. They must fight their way through four different locations: Mrs Wicket's garden, the sewers, the wilderness, and finally the kidnappers' factory hideout. Each location consists of three levels connected by a central hub. A short animated sequence is shown before each level.
Mr Bean must watch out for various pests and villains doing their best to get in his way. To help him, he has access to a few different weapons. The repellent can be used to fend off pests, the frying pan to take out bigger villains, and the slingshot to hit distant targets. A pirate costume can be used for a short period of invincibility. Various pick-ups can be collected. Cat biscuits are needed to pay Teddy's ransom, while Medi-Teddies, first aid kits and fruit are used to restore health. To finish a level, the player must open the exit gate. This is done by collecting all the puzzle pieces. These are locked in treasure chests, and the player must collect keys to get them. Once all the puzzle pieces have been collected, the player must solve a puzzle task to open the gate. Solving the puzzles requires pushing crates around to activate doors and bombs, which can be used to destroy blockages. There are also springboards that the player can use to reach elevated areas.
Alongside the main game, there are various minigames. These include a puzzle game, whack-a-mole, tennis, racing and a shooting range game. Some of these games can be played by two players, in both the Wii and Windows versions of the game.
