Madagascar - Boxed - PS2

Be part of the DreamWorks animated adventure and join Marty the zebra, Alex the lion, Melman the giraffe, Gloria the hippo, and the mischievous penguins as they escape from the Central Park Zoo into the streets of New York and then into the wild jungle...err San Diego Zoo.
The plot follows the film itself exactly, and each chapter advances you further in the story. In each chapter, different objectives are set. Only one specific objective per chapter is required to complete the chapter, so you can replay the chapter later to try and achieve all objectives.
In each stage you must play as a different character, and in some stages all characters are involved.
Each character has their own unique abilities: Marty can kick with his hind legs, sneak around his enemies, slide and make long jumps. Alex the lion can throw fruit, use his claws and roar at his enemies. Gloria can stumble, hop with her rear and hip-check her enemies. And if she eats a few chilli peppers, she can charge at her enemies. Melman can spin into his opponents, throw objects at them and headbutt them. He can also perform the helicopter move, which allows him to glide over long distances. The penguin, finally, can glide, fish and attack with a finishing move (a kind of karate chop) to defeat his enemies.
Throughout the game there are various items to collect, including life tikis, which you can use to top up your health bar, and monkey money, which you can use in the Zoo Venir Shop to buy special things like mini-games and special outfits for the Madagascar characters.
