Description
LEGO Marvel Avengers is a spin-off of the successful LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, focusing on the story of the Marvel Cinematic Universe films. The game covers the events of the Cinematic Universe up to 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' and includes content from 'Captain America: The First Avenger', 'Avengers Assemble', 'Iron Man 3', 'Thor 2', and 'Avengers: Age of Ultron', with DLC packs available for other parts of the Marvel Cinematic Universe such as 'Ant-Man' and 'Marvel's Agents of SHIELD'.
Aside from the main storylines focusing on the events of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the game offers a range of open-world "hub worlds", marking the return of "Superheroes" Manhattan and the SHIELD Helicarrier - but also introducing new hub worlds in the form of areas such as Sokovia, Malibu and Asgard. Throughout these hubs, there are collectible gold bricks and unlockable characters that can be used anywhere in the hub or in the levels in the game's free play mode - offering a huge amount of collectible content.
Voice clips taken directly from the film are mixed with new original recordings to portray the events of the key moments of the Marvel Cinematic film in the humorous way typical of LEGO.
