LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7 - Nintendo DS - EN

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 for handheld and mobile platforms is similar to the console game. It adapts the last four films in the Harry Potter series into the LEGO game format. Compared to the console version, it has fewer and smaller levels with different puzzles and fewer playable characters. The story of the films is retold across 14 chapters (compared to the 24 chapters in the console version). Many of the same cutscenes from the console version are reused. The gameplay follows the standard LEGO series template: the player moves through the levels, collects items, solves puzzles and defeats the occasional enemy. The various characters have different abilities that must be used in combination to overcome the challenges. Only wizards and witches can cast spells such as Wingardium Leviosa (to levitate objects) or Stupefy (to stun enemies). Other abilities include super strength (for tearing open doors) or controlling a pet (which can dig in the ground to uncover secrets). Once levels are completed in story mode, they become available for free play. Here, unlocked or purchased characters can be used to replay the levels and discover any remaining secrets using their special abilities.
