Kamandi #31 with a story about the last boy on Earth. This post-apocalyptic dystopia by Jack Kirby takes its cue from the then hugely successful Planet of the Apes theme. Several feature films and a TV series made the concept popular, in which apes become intelligent in the not-too-distant future and take over world domination. In Kamandi, Kirby went a step further and had (almost) all animals mutate into intelligent beings. Kamandi was the longest-running Kirby comic of the 1970s at DC. The issue is in good used condition.
