Several films and a TV series made the concept popular: that in a not-too-distant future, apes become intelligent and take over world domination. In Kamandi, Kirby went a step further and let (almost) all animals mutate into intelligent beings. Kamandi was the longest-running Kirby comic of the 1970s at DC. The issue is in good used condition.
