Jetracer - DE

Jetracer is a game for one or two players, four with a multitap, in which players compete against each other by performing tricks on jet skis.

There are three game modes, which are essentially all the same.

Freeride – where the player(s) can practise at any location and on any machine

Extreme Trick – where players compete against each other at any location and on any machine

Rider Championship – where players compete against each other across a series of events at different locations. This mode offers a choice of skill settings.

Players can choose between eight riders, four machines and four locations. There is neither a "Create Your Own Rider" feature, nor can the machines be customised.

Matches are played against other riders. If there's only one human player, the game offers three other riders to compete against; otherwise, it's a player-versus-player match. Players take turns catching a wave and performing tricks such as cutbacks, big 720s, barrel riding and so on. These are scored based on difficulty, and the process is repeated as many times as possible during the playtime. The best three scores are added together to determine the winner. Playtime can vary between ten and forty minutes.
