Jeremy McGrath Supercross 98 - DE

Jeremy McGrath lends his name to this supercross racing game. The game modes include a race season, a single race and a ghost race mode.

In race season mode, the player competes on several indoor and outdoor tracks against 5 rival racers, trying to reach first place. The higher the position at which the racer finishes the race, the more points the racer receives. (1st place = 5 points, 2nd place = 4 points, etc.) Players must earn a certain number of points across a series of races to move on to a tougher competition. If the player is really good, they can challenge Jeremy McGrath himself for the championship.

If you get far in this mode, more motorbikes will also be unlocked. The various available motorbikes have different stats in terms of engine power, tyre grip and handling. Players can choose between automatic or manual transmission.

In single race mode, the player can compete alone, against opponents, or against another player. Players can choose from 7 different tracks and also ride reversed versions of these tracks. Ghost Racing lets the player compete against a ghost racer, which represents the player's best time on a track.

The game also includes a track editor. Players can place various jumps, hairpin turns and other types of track features to create their own racetrack.
