International Superstar Soccer - Game Boy - EN

Hit the Ice is a fast-paced ice hockey game where things get heated. This game, which has more in common with Midway's Arch Rivals than with a reasonable ice hockey simulation, is no place for penalties and no place for softies. Whilst it is still about getting the puck into the opposing goal somehow, each team has only three players, checking is heavily emphasised, and it is possible to perform a "super shot" that is powerful enough to send the goalkeeper along with the puck into the net. There is an exhibition and a tournament mode for one or two players. Two players can even team up to play against the computer. The TurboGrafx-16 version additionally offers a four-player mode, whilst the Game Boy version includes a "Shot Race" mode in which the player must score a certain number of goals as quickly as possible.
