Description
This is the next instalment in the Grand Theft Auto series, which takes place in Liberty City again, just like GTA 3.
This time the story is set in 1998, and you follow in the footsteps of Toni Cipriani. As usual in the series, you start at the bottom and work your way up the mafia food chain, wage wars against other mafia families, and handle all sorts of dirty work.
The game is part of the Grand Theft Auto universe, so you'll occasionally encounter characters you met in earlier games in the series, although the story is quite independent and makes only few references to previous incidents and events.
All other familiar elements from earlier games are present: you can complete small side missions as a pizza delivery person, vigilante, taxi driver and more.
The PSP version supports multiplayer gameplay. Up to six gangsters can compete in deathmatches, capture the flag and king of the hill.
