Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn - Boxed - PS3
CHF 19.90
Currently unavailable
Description
The game retains most features from Final Fantasy XIV (locations, classes, species and combat system), but every area has been completely redesigned and players can now choose to create a male Miqo'te or a female Roegadyn, which were not playable in the original game. A new class, the Arcanist, and the jobs Summoner and Scholar were also introduced. Players can no longer choose where to start; the starting city-state is instead determined by the character's class, as the guild for each class is located in a different city-state.
Characters level up by gaining experience points through defeating enemies, completing quests, crafting items, or gathering materials and crystals. As characters level up, their stats increase and new abilities and traits are acquired. Players can freely change classes by equipping different weapons, with each class having its own experience pool and set of abilities. Each character's abilities are individually customised; the player decides which abilities (selected from the main class abilities and some from other class abilities) are displayed on the action bar.
The Armoury Chest now allows players to sort equipment in different chests (all main hand weapons together, all armour together, etc.) rather than in the inventory. Equipment must first be moved from the inventory to the Armoury Chest. Movement is made easier by an additional jump function to avoid getting stuck on small protrusions and obstacles.
