Description
FIFA 14 doesn't differ much from its predecessor - a few changes to the controls, slightly slower gameplay speed, a few minor differences in the game modes, and here and there some other improvements, e.g. to ball physics or animations. Its standout features remain the extensive licensing package and a wide range of game modes. Besides the usual leagues and matches, the two most unique modes are Ultimate Team (essentially a trading-card-style mode in which players must assemble a team with good chemistry) and Career Mode (which includes various football manager features, such as scouting).
Exclusive to this version are Tournaments, FIFA Interactive World Cup, Be a Pro (controlling a single athlete), Head to Head and Creation Centre mode. Otherwise, the main difference from the PS4/Xbox One version is the absence of the new Ignite engine.
