Description
2K5 uses a new momentum system that takes into account the player's abilities when deciding what they can do. A small guy who can't run very fast or jump very high won't be able to dunk much.
24/7, the "story" mode from last year's game, has returned with some new features. There are over a hundred new items, a respect system, the ability to play multiplayer games, and new timed mini-games.
Like all 2K5 titles, this game features standard ESPN presentation, including camera angles, follow cams, stat overlays and ongoing commentary. Commentators include Michele Tafoya reporting from the sidelines and Bill Walton, a Hall of Famer, as the main commentator.
ESPN NBA 2K5 offers online play via Xbox Live (Xbox only) and PlayStation 2 online service.
