Disney Pixar Cars [Platinum] - boxed - PS2

Cars is a racing game based on the film of the same name that gives the player the chance to explore the world of Radiator Springs and the surrounding areas in an open, mission-based structure. The story revolves around racing rookie Lightning McQueen, who wants to become a famous racer and compete in the Piston Cup, the equivalent of NASCAR racing. You can move around freely, talk to other characters and take on racing challenges to advance the story.
Story mode offers over 20 road races to choose from, as well as 5 Piston Cup races and additional mini-games. In story mode, the player earns bonus points that can be used to unlock bonus content such as boost abilities, new racers (10 in total), new environments and mini-games such as an obstacle course or military training. The game also features an arcade menu that provides quick access to the races unlocked in story mode, as well as a VS. mode where the player can compete head-to-head.
