Description
G-Force is a licensed game based on the film of the same name. The player takes control of Darwin, a member of a secret government organisation made up of guinea pigs. His mission: to stop the evil industrial tycoon Saber, who manipulates household appliances and uses them as weapons.
Unsurprisingly, these are the main enemies in this game. But Darwin is far from helpless: various weapons and gadgets, such as a jetpack, an electronic whip or a grappling hook, are used to take them down. Most of the time is spent fighting, but there are also puzzles. Many of them require the use of Mooch, a fly. He can be summoned at any time and is able to reach high-up places, disable electronic devices, fly through small holes and even slow down time to get past fast-moving obstacles.
Throughout the game, the player can find computer chips and hidden floppy disks. These can be used to replenish ammo and health, or to upgrade weapons. There's also the option to switch to an infrared view and scan objects, which provides additional information.
The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions have an optional game mode for 3D glasses.
