Description
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood continues the story of Assassin's Creed II. Players take on the role of Ezio and use their assassin skills to free Rome and fight against the Templars. Players undertake missions to advance the story, earn money and gradually free the city from Borgia influence. In particular, by burning down the thirteen Borgia towers, which are used to enforce their rule, Ezio can reclaim areas of Rome for the people and use his money to restore shops, shortcut tunnels and even Roman landmarks. In this way, players also earn regular income from Rome, which they can claim in one of Rome's banks.
New to the Assassin's Creed series is a multiplayer component. The background of the multiplayer mode is that the Templar organisation Abstergo uses Animus devices to train its recruits into assassins. You take on the role of an Abstergo recruit and must find and murder your target whilst you yourself are hunted for murder. You must be careful not to arouse suspicion, otherwise it will become obvious that you are an assassin and not a citizen, making it easier to discover and eliminate you. During the game you collect points with which you can level up and improve your character's abilities.
The Windows version, both on Steam and in the retail packaging, includes two bonus maps: Trajan's Market and The Aqueduct. More
