Mario Kart Double Dash!! - GCN

Mario Kart: Double Dash!! is the latest instalment of the game that started the “kart racing” genre. This Mario Kart focuses more on co-op play and weapons. All the features and weapons from the previous games make a return: red shells, stars, mushrooms and more, alongside new character-specific weapons like Chain Chomps and Giant Koopa Shells. The tracks also follow tradition, each staying true to the Mario universe.

This time there are two racers per kart. A big part of the game's challenge is working out when to swap places in the kart. This game supports multiple players. So you can team up with a friend on the same kart and race cooperatively against your opponents, with one player driving the kart and the other using power-ups. There is also a comprehensive LAN mode that allows up to 8 GameCubes to be connected.
