Captain Collector's Astonishing Parcel Flood
Last week I really thought the zombie apocalypse had finally arrived. Orders in the online shop reached a peak that I could hardly handle logistically any more. But only hardly. The solution was to make the pilgrimage to the post office two, sometimes even three times a day.
Feeding Frenzy
People ordered like there was no tomorrow, and it looked as if customers couldn't get enough of trading cards, comics and retro games. That's what happens when you're at home and don't go out as often as usual. You have to keep yourself busy somehow.
Especially with the Pokémon boxes in all their different sizes, my creativity was called for: packing them as well protected as possible, yet somehow economically (and transportably too).
At this point I would like to send a heartfelt thank you to all our customers on behalf of our family business AMAZING. Our shop has been closed for more than three weeks, and like many other small businesses we now only operate virtually via the online shop. Thank you very much for your orders!

The workaholics
On the other side, lots of larger deliveries arrived too. Mostly they were Yu-Gi-Oh! or Pokémon goods that my son, the tireless Sparkojote, had busily ordered. Not only did he turn the online shop upside down, installing new modules and feature extensions, he also beat the boredom by ordering new products.
So you see, we're not running out of work, even in these virtual times. Besides the shipping, which demanded quite a bit of physical effort from me, over the last few weeks I fed the online shop with hundreds of new comics. And we are far from finished. Sometimes I think we've hardly started …
Do you have a favourite product or favourite comic that you ordered online over the last few weeks?
