Description
Twilight Princess is the first Legend of Zelda game for the Wii and also the last for the GameCube. At the beginning, Link is a simple farm boy whose tasks include herding goats and looking after the children in the village of Ordon, Link's hometown. One day, Link is asked by the mayor to run an errand to the castle town, but suddenly everything goes wrong... The land becomes dark, and strange creatures from another world, the so-called Twilight Realm, appear, transforming most into spirits. Link, however, is transformed into a wolf. After his transformation into a wolf, Link is supported by Midna, a resident of the Twilight Realm. Midna helps Link find a way to return to human form and also takes on other tasks. The wolf can neither use a sword nor other items. Instead, as a wolf, Link must use his senses to solve puzzles and overcome obstacles. The animal can also dig holes to find hearts and rupees and to reach places. He can push blocks with his head to climb higher or uncover hidden passages. It can also attack enemies by biting them or pouncing on them. As a human, Link can move quickly, aim his bow, swing his sword and even fish. Additionally, Link collects many different items that allow him to perform various attacks and reach places he couldn't reach before. Link performs many attacks with his sword and can even learn other sword movements. The game's graphics resemble the naturalistic style of Ocarina of Time rather than the cel-shading look of The Wind Waker. Chronologically, the game takes place between the two aforementioned titles, and some locations from Ocarina of Time can be visited. The main adventure takes place in several provinces with dungeons and temples. With the help of Midna, you can later in the game travel around easily and quickly. The Wii U remaster of the game includes: Enhanced graphics Wii U GamePad support (enables displaying a mini map on the touchscreen or switching items via the touchscreen) Miiverse support Some areas of the game have been slightly adjusted A new difficulty mode A new dungeon, the Cave of Shadows, which can be entered with the Wolf Link amiibo Additional amiibo support for replenishing health or arrows More
