Xevious NES Classics - Game Boy Advance - DE

X-Men: The Official Game is based on the third X-Men film. In the game you control either Wolverine, Colossus, Iceman or Nightcrawler through twenty-five levels of a traditional side-scrolling beat-'em-up. You move through the levels to find the exit. The levels can be traversed from left to right or top to bottom, or are rather labyrinth-like. Enemies are defeated using a variety of strikes. The characters differ in their range and the damage they cause. Each character also has their own special attack and some unique abilities. Colossus, for example, can smash certain materials, while Wolverine regenerates his health over time. While you start the game as Wolverine, the other characters will later join you and you can switch between them at any time. Each X-Man also has his own energy bar, which is filled by collecting blue symbols, allowing you to increase damage for a certain period of time.
