Weird Tales is a so-called pulp magazine, a magazine (approx. 17x24cm) made from highly wood-based paper containing short stories from the fantastical genre across almost 100 pages. It contains stories by authors now famous in science fiction, such as Ray Bradbury. The stories are also accompanied by black-and-white illustrations. In the first half of the 20th century, pulps were inexpensive entertainment literature in the USA and disappeared once paperbacks took over their role. Today they are traded as collector's items and sought after for their covers and authors. This November 1946 issue has a fantasy cover by Boris Dolgov and is in good used condition. The spine of the magazine is faded from sunlight.
