Tom and Jerry - SNES - DE

Based on the world-renowned MGM animated film, the player controls Jerry the mouse (in 2-player mode, P2 takes control of Jerry's nephew Tuffy) as he explores four different worlds (cinema, scrapyard, a toy-based stage and the house interior). The control scheme is simple: the B button allows Jerry/Tuffy to jump (tapping it lightly again upon landing activates their super jumps), whilst the A/Y/X buttons allow them to throw marbles upwards (Y button) and downwards (X/Y buttons) at enemies. To earn additional lives as you progress through the game, players have two options: the rarest and sometimes most difficult way is to find a 1-Up symbol; however the easiest mode is to collect 100 small cheese balls scattered throughout the levels (Cheese Bits). Additionally, Jerry's and Tuffy's health points are displayed as four hearts, which can be refilled by collecting larger cheese pieces (Cheese Chunks). At the end of each world, Jerry and Tuffy face a confrontation with Tom the cat.
