Description
Timpo Indian Rider Archer (Wild West)
Figure: Indian Rider ArcherManufacturer: Timpo Toys
Year: 1970s
Condition: New
Timpo Indian Rider Archer from the Wild West series by Timpo Toys (approx. 8cm tall), original from the first half of the 1970s in mint condition. The figure consists of 11 plug-together individual parts: feather, hair braid, head, necklace, torso, belt, legs, saddle, reins, horse, base plate.
Timpos are plug-together toy soldiers made of polyethylene (soft, flexible plastic) by the company Timpo Toys from the 1960s and 1970s. The figures are approx. 5cm tall and consist of several plug-together individual parts that can be combined and swapped with one another. The overmoulding process developed in England in the early 1960s made painting the figures unnecessary. The individual parts were cast from plastic granulate of different colours on top of each other, creating a lifelike level of detail. Timpos are old collectible figures, and yet still relatively affordable in most cases.
