Terra #420 with the science fiction novel Die Psycho-Waffe by H. W. Mommers and Ernst Vlcek (Galaktikum Part 3). This novel booklet from 1965 is in a good condition.
Terra was published from 1957 to 1968 as a booklet novel series (approx. 23x15cm) by the Moewig publishing house in Munich, reaching the lucky number of 555 issues before the series was discontinued. In the German-speaking world, these booklet novels were what the pulps were in the USA during the first half of the 20th century: entertainment literature and an entry point into certain subject areas (here science fiction) for young readers. Today, booklet novels are collected as connoisseur items, both for their stories and for their cover artwork. The typical "look" of Terra was shaped above all by Johnny Bruck, who from 1961 also created the visual design of the series Perry Rhodan.
