Publisher: Moewig
Year: 1965
Condition: 1 (One) Very Good
Terra #410 with the science fiction novel Das Weltraum-Monopolby Jack Vance. This 1965 booklet novel is in very good condition.
Terra was published from 1957 to 1968 as a booklet novel series (approx. 23x15cm) by the Moewig publishing house in Munich, reaching the lucky number of 555 issues before the series was discontinued. In the German-speaking world, these booklet novels were the equivalent of what the pulps were in the USA during the first half of the 20th century: entertainment literature and an entry point into certain subject areas (here science fiction) for young readers. Today, booklet novels are collected as items for enthusiasts, both for their stories and for their cover artwork. The typical "look" of Terra was shaped above all by Johnny Bruck, who from 1961 also designed the visuals for the series Perry Rhodan.
