Terra #382 featuring the science fiction novel Alexander Jones Diplomat der Erde by Poul Anderson and Gordon R. Dickson. This 1965 novella booklet is in a good used condition.
Terra was published from 1957 to 1968 as a novella booklet series (approx. 23x15cm) by Moewig-Verlag in Munich, reaching the memorable number of 555 issues before the series was discontinued. In the German-speaking world, these novella booklets were what the pulps were in the USA in the first half of the 20th century: entertainment literature and an entry point into certain subject areas (in this case science fiction) for young readers. Today, novella booklets are collected as items for enthusiasts, both for their stories and for their cover artwork. The typical "look" of Terra was shaped above all by Johnny Bruck, who from 1961 also designed the visual style of the series Perry Rhodan.
