Description
Superman 1978 #11
Comic: Superman 1978 #11Language: German
Publisher: Ehapa Comics
Year: 15 May 1978
Condition: 1-2 (One to two) Fine
Superman 1978 #11 featuring exciting stories about DC's famous superhero. The issue is in very nice, almost mint condition, unfortunately the collector's stamp is missing. Hence condition 1-2 only.
Superman was published by Ehapa between 1966 and 1985 and still forms the solid backbone of DC comics in the German language today. (A Marvel Comics equivalent in the 1970s was the Williams publishing house.) The Superman issues featured stories from various US series: Superman, Batman, Action Comics, Detective Comics, Jimmy Olsen, Lois Lane, World's Finest Comics and others. In terms of superheroes, these issues held roughly the same status at Ehapa as Mickey Mouse did for the funnies. Due to the very thin paper, prone to creasing, exceptionally well-preserved copies are much sought-after collector's items.
