Superman 1975 #2 with two Superman adventures and SHAZAM (here still called "Käpt'n Thunder" in the German edition) as guest star. The comic book is in good used condition.
Superman was published by Ehapa Verlag between 1966 and 1985 and still forms the solid foundation of DC comics in the German language today. (An equivalent for Marvel Comics in the 1970s was Williams Verlag.) The Superman issues featured stories from various US series: Superman, Batman, Action Comics, Detective Comics, Jimmy Olsen, Lois Lane, World's Finest Comics and others. At Ehapa Verlag, these issues hold roughly the same status when it comes to superheroes as Mickey Mouse does among the Funnies. Due to the very thin paper, which is highly prone to creasing, very well-preserved copies are sought-after collectors' items.
