Superman 1974 #23 with a classic Batman adventure, drawn by comic legend Neal Adams. The supervillain of this story is Batman's arch-enemy, the Joker. As a backup, the issue also contains a story with Supergirl. The comic book is in good condition.
Superman was published by Ehapa Verlag between 1966 and 1985 and still forms the solid backbone of DC comics in German today. (An equivalent for Marvel Comics in the 1970s was Williams Verlag.) The Superman issues featured stories from various US series: Superman, Batman, Action Comics, Detective Comics, Jimmy Olsen, Lois Lane, World's Finest Comics and others. At Ehapa Verlag, these issues held roughly the same status among superheroes as Mickey Mouse did among funnies. Because of the very thin paper, which is highly prone to creasing, well-preserved copies are sought-after collector's items.
