Superman 1973 #22 with a story featuring Superman and Batman. These are genuine DC superhero classics from the Bronze Age of comics, the 1970s! The issue is in good condition with signs of use.
Superman was published by Ehapa Verlag between 1966 and 1985 and still forms the solid backbone of DC comics in German today. (An equivalent at Marvel Comics in the 1970s was Williams Verlag.) The Superman issues featured stories from various US series: Superman, Batman, Action Comics, Detective Comics, Jimmy Olsen, Lois Lane, World's Finest Comics and others. In terms of superheroes, these issues held roughly the same status at Ehapa Verlag as Mickey Mouse did among the funnies. Because of the very thin paper, which is highly prone to creasing, well-preserved copies are sought-after collector's items.
