Super Turrican - SNES - DE

Super Turrican is the next generation of the famous Turrican series. Once again, it is the task of the U.S.S. Freedom Forces to don their Turrican power suits and push back the forces of "The Machine". Similar to its predecessors, Super Turrican offers large levels full of secrets that can be freely explored in any direction. To dispose of the numerous enemies, Turrican can employ three upgradeable shots: a spread shot, a powerful laser, and a ricochet that bounces off walls. There is also a freeze beam that can temporarily freeze enemies. It is fully rotatable and therefore a great help in discovering secret capsules. These capsules contain power-ups and can often be used to reach secret areas. Finally, Turrican has the ability to transform into an energy wheel (provided he has enough special energy), which allows him to lay mines and even become invincible.
