Super Mario Galaxy - Nintendo Wii - DE

Mario takes another trip to the stars and beyond to rescue the princess. As the Mushroom Kingdom prepares to celebrate the arrival of a comet that appears in the sky every hundred years, Princess Peach sends Mario an invitation. When Mario arrives, Bowser and his minions attack the kingdom and kidnap the princess once again – and her entire castle. Mario gives chase, but becomes lost when the ship leaves the atmosphere and lands on a space station built on the visited comet and supervised by the mysterious Rosalina. It is now up to Mario to explore new galaxies, find the elusive Power Stars and bring his friends back home. Super Mario Galaxy plays much like Super Mario 64. Mario explores his newest 3D world by defying gravity, traversing various terrains and even running upside down across planet surfaces. As he hops from planet to planet, Mario must collect Star Bits and coins, using his usual jumping attacks and spins (now controlled with the Wii remote). The Wii remote is also used to collect unreachable Star Bits and can be controlled by a second player as well. Additionally, Mario can find new suits (similar to those in Super Mario Bros. 3) that give him the ability to transform into the ghostly Boo Mario and the high-flying Bee Mario, shoot fireballs as Fire Mario and glide across frozen lakes as Ice Mario. Furthermore, new challenges await Mario, such as ray surfing, balancing on a high-speed ball, hovering in bubbles and other challenges on his way to collecting all 120 stars. Even Luigi helps in the search and makes valuable contributions to the adventure. Players can also take a snapshot of the worlds they have completed, together with their best times, and send them to their friends via Wi-Fi.
