Sub-Mariner #24 by Roy Thomas (story) and John Buscema (art). Buscema also drew the cover. The Sub-Mariner takes on the super-villain trio Krang, Orka and Tiger Shark. The issue is in good used condition.
The character of the Sub-Mariner was created by Bill Everett and first appeared in Marvel Comics #1 in October 1939. Along with Captain America and the Human Torch, he was one of the three superheroes to appear at what was then Timely Comics (the forerunner of Marvel Comics) and to fight the Axis powers on comic pages during the Second World War. He is a hybrid - half human, half Atlantean - and has the ability to breathe underwater. He became popular again when Jack Kirby and Stan Lee brought him back out of mothballs in 1962 in Fantastic Four #4, breathing new life into him in the Silver Age. After sharing the comic Tales to Astonish with Iron Man in the mid-1960s, he got his own title in 1968. Gene Colan and John Buscema visually defined the Sub-Mariner in the Silver Age of comics and gave him the distinctive look he is known for today.
