The Structure DeckOnslaught of the Fire Kings is built around rebirth and renewal. Whenever Garunix or Nephthys is destroyed by a card effect, it soon returns to the field in a blaze of glory. And then their flames burn so bright that they set fire to all cards of a specific type: Garunix destroys every other monster on the field, while Nephthys destroys all Spells and Traps.

If you want to trigger total destruction, use two copies of Garunix together. When both are on the field, let one be destroyed. On the next Standby Phase it returns and destroys the other Garunix and every other monster. When the second Garunix returns on the following Standby Phase, it destroys the first Garunix and every other monster, then the first Garunix returns and destroys everything, including the second Garunix, which then comes back and… well, you get the idea. With two Garunix working together, you can make sure no opposing monster stays on the field for more than one turn!

Fire Power

Your Structure Deck also comes with two new Spell Cards to turn up the heat: Onslaught of the Fire Kings and Circle of the Fire Kings.

Bringing Garunix or Nephthys into play is a breeze with the Onslaught of the Fire Kings Spell Card. Use it to Special Summon Garunix, Nephthys, or a similar monster straight from your Deck. Onslaught of the Fire Kings destroys the monster at the end of the turn, but that's fine, because that's EXACTLY what you want to happen.

As soon as Garunix or Nephthys is destroyed by the effect of Onslaught of the Fire Kings, that simply means its own effect is triggered, and it rises from the ashes to set the field ablaze on the next turn. (Although the secondary effect of Onslaught of the Fire Kings negates the monster's effect while it's on the field, it has no effect on the monster once it's in the Graveyard, so it doesn't hinder your Phoenix effects in any way.)

If your Garunix/Nephthys lineup is ever interrupted, you can also use Circle of the Fire Kings to get things moving again. This card lets you revive a FIRE monster from the Graveyard by destroying one on the field. Use this effect to bring back a Phoenix that was destroyed in battle, or simply use it as another way to start your combo by destroying Garunix or Nephthys on the field with a card effect. In fact, Circle of the Fire Kings is a great way to bring the double-Garunix combo into play, since it destroys one (which can rise again next turn) and brings the other Garunix back to the field (so it will be destroyed by the first Garunix and then rise again next turn, kicking your destructive combo into gear).

Since Circle of the Fire Kings is a Quick-Play Spell Card, you can also use it when your monster is about to be destroyed anyway. If your opponent has just activated an effect that destroys a monster, activate Circle of the Fire Kings as a new Chain Link to bring Garunix or Nephthys onto the field, so that it's destroyed and can return on the next turn.
