In Snoopy Tennis, the player takes control of Charles Schulz's famous Peanuts cast and competes in a series of tennis matches similar to Mario Tennis. The player can initially choose from eight characters (Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus, Franklin, Sally, Peppermint Patty & Schroeder), all of whom have their own strengths and weaknesses. By winning against certain opponents and in various modes, the player can unlock four additional characters (Pig-Pen, Marcie, Rerun and Woodstock). There are four different courts to choose from: a forest, the beach, the schoolyard and Charlie Brown's back garden, with four additional courts unlocked as you progress through the game. There are six different single-player modes to choose from: Normal, in which the best two out of three games are played. Power, in which the player plays a tennis match and can use power-ups during the match. Points Win, in which the player with the most points within two minutes wins the match. Sudden Win, in which there are no serve breaks and the first player to win two games wins the match. Squash, which is a standard tennis game but with walls added on both sides of the court. There is also a Championship mode, in which the player competes against various characters on different courts to win the Peanuts tennis championship and unlock further characters at various difficulty levels (easy, medium and hard). There is also a two-player mode using a Game Link, and the game supports three languages (English, French and Spanish) to choose from. More
