Return of the Duelist Special Edition - Yu-Gi-Oh!

Return of the Duelist… returns!

Each Return of the Duelist Special Edition box comes with 3 Return of the Duelist boosters plus 1 of 2 Super Rare variant cards to power up your Extra Deck: either T.G. Hyper Librarian or Number 30: Acid Golem of Destruction!

T.G. Hyper Librarian is a Synchro recipient's dream come true: a Synchro Monster that rewards you for playing other Synchro Monsters! Every time you perform a Synchro Summon while Hyper Librarian is under your control, you can draw an extra card. And it has no special recipient requirements, so you can play it in any deck. As a Spellcaster-Type Monster, Hyper Librarian works especially well with the „Prophecy“ monsters from the Return of the Duelist booster set, which are likewise Spellcaster-Type. Add to that its 2400 ATK, an unusually high attack power for a Level 5 Synchro Monster (so make sure you get your borrowed spellbooks back in time!).

Number 30: Acid Golem of Destruction burns and destroys everything it touches, possibly even the duellist controlling it! But if you can harness its immense power for a swift victory, it's definitely a mighty weapon! Acid Golem is a Rank 3 Xyz Monster that's easy to Summon (it only needs 2 Level 3 monsters, with no restrictions) and hits hard (with 3000 ATK). The downside is that during your Standby Phase, you must detach one of its Xyz Materials, otherwise you take 2000 damage. And once no Xyz Material is left attached, the card can no longer attack! That gives you two turns of 3000-point strikes to knock down your opponent's Life Points. Left unopposed, Acid Golem can deal 6000 damage to your opponent before it runs out of steam, which SHOULD be enough to win the duel, as long as things go your way. If you run into trouble, you can attach extra Xyz Materials with cards like Xyz Reborn (from Order of Chaos) or Overlay Regen (from Return of the Duelist).

Both of these Extra Deck Monsters have never before been released in a TCG product, so this is the first time they're available to the public!

You're guaranteed to find one of these cards in your Special Edition box, plus 27 cards drawn from your 3 boosters. Return of the Duelist Special Edition is a great way to power up your deck – and your Extra Deck – more cost-effectively than buying the boosters individually!
