Putty Squad - SNES - EN

In this sequel to Putty, the wizard folk have invaded the land of Putty, and it's up to you to make your way to the wizard city of Klud and free your many prisoners of war. The game has fewer puzzle elements than the original and is more of a standard platformer – insofar as one can call a game a "standard" example of anything in which you can transform into an all-conquering terminator Putty, are confronted with grenade-throwing puppies, and can play a tune with Uncle Ted to distract enemies. You take control of the same amorphous blob as before, which has the ability to "stretch" left and right (and use this as a weapon that kills on contact) and stretch upwards to facilitate jumping. It can also explode itself and absorb other objects and even become physical to gain an advantage. Stars are scattered throughout the level, collecting which improves Putty's abilities, starting with a super punch for 10 stars up to terminator ability for 40 stars. The puppies from the previous game are no longer on your side and are out to get you. They have all sorts of abilities – they shoot mortar bombs at you, fly at you in a paradise, and can even fly a helicopter.
