Pokémon Center x Van Gogh Museum: Munchlax & Snorlax Inspired By The Bedroom Playmat

Snorlax and Munchlax could probably use some rest after stuffing themselves at their last meal. Luckily, the vivid colours and interesting use of perspective make this bedroom scene especially relaxing! The artwork, created as part of a collaboration between the Pokémon Center and the Van Gogh Museum Amsterdam, combines Van Gogh's unique vision with the imagination of Pokémon.

Vincent van Gogh's The Bedroom, 1888, is the inspiration for this piece.

The original artwork is the property of the Van Gogh Museum, Amsterdam (Vincent van Gogh Foundation)

To mark Vincent van Gogh's 170th birthday and the 50th anniversary of the Van Gogh Museum Amsterdam, The Pokémon Company International and the Van Gogh Museum Amsterdam collaborated to reinterpret the artist's paintings
