Mr. Bean's Wacky World - Nintendo Wii - DE

Mr. Bean's Wacky World is a third-person action game based on the 2002 animated series starring Rowan Atkinson as the famous character. A mysterious villain has kidnapped Teddy and demands a ransom of 1,000 cat biscuits. Now it's up to the player to venture into the world and collect all the requested biscuits. He must make his way through four different locations: Mrs. Wicket's garden, the sewers, the wilderness and finally the kidnapper's hideout. Each location consists of three levels connected by a central hub. A short animated sequence is shown before each level. Mr. Bean must watch out for various pests and villains who do their best to stand in his way. To help him, he has access to several different weapons. With insecticide he can repel pests, with the frying pan he can take out larger villains and with the slingshot he can aim at distant targets. A pirate costume can be used for a short period of invulnerability. Various pick-ups can be collected. Cat biscuits are needed to pay Teddy's ransom, while Medi-Teddys, first aid kits and fruit are used to restore health. To complete a level, the player must open the exit gate. This is done by collecting all puzzle pieces. These are locked in treasure chests and the player must collect keys to get them. Once all puzzle pieces are collected, the player must solve a puzzle to open the gate. When solving the puzzles, boxes must be pushed around to activate doors and bombs, which can be used to destroy blockades. There are also springboards that allow the player to reach elevated areas. In addition to the main game, there are various mini-games. These include a puzzle game, Whack-a-mole, tennis, racing and shooting ranges.
