International Superstar Soccer Advance - Game Boy Advance - EN

International Superstar Soccer Advance is Konami's second football game to be released for the GBA and contains some innovations compared to its predecessor. The game features 58 national teams, compared to 40 in the predecessor game. However, there are no more licences for real player names, so all players are fictional. New game modes include friendly matches, international cup and penalty shootouts. The new Superstar mode is a series of three-minute matches against Superstar teams where it's all or nothing. The view of the playing field has been changed from the isometric perspective of its predecessor to a sideline view. As before, you can set a variety of formations and strategies. There is also a choice of weather, different stadiums and referees, and once again running commentary by Jon Champion, as well as a two-player mode via link cable.
