Incredible Hulk #259
Comic: Incredible Hulk #259Language: English
Publisher: Marvel Comics
Year: May 1981
Condition: Very Fine, VF, 8.0
Incredible Hulk #259 brings an adventure with Marvel's Green Giant from the 1980s. The issue is in very good condition.
The Hulk is one of the oldest superhero characters in the Marvel Universe. Jack Kirby and Stan Lee created him in 1962 as a kind of tragic Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde character. Contaminated by radioactive radiation in an accident, physicist Dr. Bruce Banner (usually against his will) transforms into a huge green monster known to everyone, at least since the Marvel films: the Hulk. The series initially ran for 6 issues before being cancelled. A few years later he was revived in the series Tales to Astonish, where he wreaked havoc from issue 60 onwards. This comic series was renamed after #101 and became Incredible Hulk with #102. Incidentally, one of the most famous Marvel superheroes had his first appearance in this series: Wolverine first showed up in October 1974 in Incredible Hulk #180.
