In autumn 2018, the next pure foil set Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME Hidden Summoners is released, and it brings along 3 brand-new deck themes with multiple summoning methods! Every deck strategy introduced with Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME Hidden Summoners combines the flexibility of Link Summons with the raw power of another Summon type. That's what you can look forward to this autumn!

Divine Phoenix of Nephthys rises from the ashes and is reborn as a Ritual Monster! Both the Phoenix and its companion Nephthys Maid make the leap into the new era. Both have a Ritual Monster based on the original card, but also their own squad of Level 2 companions that let you destroy your cards to use their effects. Destroy another card in this theme and the second ability will activate during your next Standby Phase, granting you 2 great effects for the price of one. The Link Monsters in this theme are built around Summoning multiple Ritual Monsters. One gathers the pieces you need for the Ritual Summon or revives fallen monsters, while the other grows stronger depending on how many Ritual Monsters you used to Summon it.

Tiny tricksters up to no good! They may look cute and innocent, but the 3 main effect monsters of this strategy can combine 6 different paths into chaos. This strategy uses Fusion Monsters together with Link Monsters, and the monsters in the deck give you more material when you use them for Fusion and Link Summons. Each of the Fusion and Link Monsters can be offered as a Tribute for a special effect. The strongest of them can be offered as a Tribute to replicate the effects of Raigeki or Harpie's Feather Duster.

Finally, zombie monsters based on Japanese legends manifest as a new Synchro Summon strategy. The deck uses the "Synchro climb" strategy with a special twist: once you've "climbed" to the highest Synchro Monster, you're able to Summon the previous Synchro Monster and use its effects once the current monster is destroyed. This strategy can bring out every Synchro Monster in a single turn thanks to the receivers that Special Summon themselves from the Graveyard. The Link Monster of this strategy reduces the ATK and DEF of the monsters it points to every time your opponent destroys a Synchro Monster – incredible.
