Fix und Foxi #253 with classic comics from the idea factory of Rolf Kauka. The issue is in a used condition with staple rust, and the collector's stamp has been cut out. Despite these flaws, it is a nicely preserved comic with a cover that would probably not pass censorship today.
Fix und Foxi was published from 1953 to 1994 and was the ever-present rival to Mickey Mouse. The big difference: the Fix und Foxi characters were original German creations, not translations of American and later Italian comics published under licence in German. Rolf Kauka established his own cosmos of funnies (funny animals) very early on and, at the same time, laid the foundation for a large fan base that flourished especially in the 1960s and 1970s.
