Disney's Donald Duck takes the lead role in this side-scrolling platformer. As detective Maui Mallard, he's on the trail of a long-lost idol that has recently gone missing. Early on, Maui can also switch between his normal self and Ninja Maui, and with all the creepy voodoo enemies he'll encounter during his adventure, he'll need all the help he can get.

As mentioned, Maui has two personalities and, consequently, two different control sets. "Normal" Maui carries a bug gun that can fire a variety of different bug ammo, from simple bugs to stronger lightning and fire bugs. Maui can also combine bugs to unleash a stronger explosion on his enemies.

Once Maui starts finding Yin-Yang coins, he can transform into Ninja Maui. Ninja Maui has lightning-fast reflexes and a bo staff. Ninja Maui isn't just useful for striking enemies, he can also climb between walls by jumping and bracing his staff between them at the height of his jump. He can also grab onto and swing from duck heads to reach areas he normally couldn't. You must keep finding Yin-Yang coins to strengthen your ninja personality. Otherwise, you'll run out and turn back into Maui Mallard.
