Daffy Duck slips into the futuristic outfit of Duck Dodgers, the hero of the 24½th century, to battle his arch-enemy Marvin the Martian in this platform game. Four levels with alien landscapes and high-tech bases full of strange enemies await Daffy. He is equipped with a ray gun and a jetpack. The jetpack allows him to reach great heights, but consumes fuel quickly – it is advisable to fire it only in short bursts to cover greater distances; it recharges when he lands on solid ground. Enemies can be defeated either by jumping on them or by firing the ray gun, although it fires in a rather ridiculous arc. By killing enemies you gain points, which you can spend to upgrade the standard gun to more advanced models with rapid fire, laser fire, ricocheting bullets and more. Lost health points can be replenished by finding heart symbols or by spending points. In some sections of the game, Daffy rides a flying sleigh and must evade Marvin, who is always hot on his heels.
