Castlevania NES Classics - Game Boy Advance - DE

Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance is the second Castlevania game to be released for the Game Boy Advance. Juste Belmont and his friend Maxim are lured into the newly resurrected castle of Dracula to rescue their mutual friend Lydie, although it is still unclear who will rescue whom. The game is another Castlevania in the action/RPG style of its predecessors Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Castlevania: Circle of the Moon. Juste can, like Alucard, run freely and use sub-weapons such as the axe and holy water. By combining sub-weapons with magical books found throughout the castle, he can enhance both their power and their properties, for example turning holy water into a rain that damages every monster on screen, or a Bible into a holy shield that surrounds him. Juste can equip many types of armour and accessories, and he can modify his Vampire Killer whip with various attachments that change its elemental properties or increase its power. As an optional side task, Juste can also find furniture and furnishings left behind in the castle and use them to decorate a room, although there is no reward for this except for a nicer room.
